With the new year now in full swing we have no more excuses….. the blogs must go on and our content must be top notch if we are really going to eclipse everything we did last year.
Now one thing that is talked about over and over again is motivation to work on your blogs and other online projects. So just to be original I am going to talk about it here again!
Mr T and my workspace
I have recently been looking for things to make my desk a better place to be. Much of the time I work outside my home but this can often lead to distractions from the buzz of the real world. Locked away in the dungeon that is my home, I can lock down and concentrate, meaning more focused results in a quicker time.
So I started looking at getting a Mr T Bobblehead and a few other trinkets to at least give me a smile and some stress relief. Santa Claus also brought me an excellent Ball of Whacks Creativity Tool (I will write about this soon).
I am not saying waste your money on clutter but just by surrounding yourself with some cool, personal and interesting objects, the place will feel more like home and give you motivation when faced with creativity block.
Back to Mr T…. The Mr T Bobblehead is where it starts but this colorful character from my childhood is like a mini obsession and often helps me laugh when I am frustrated. Laughter in itself solves a million things.
Mr T is someone I turn to for advice, laughter and help in hard times. Now lucky for us the power of the internet means that he is there for us 24/7.

Mr T has motivated me, given me inspiration and reversed my bad mood, what now?
Mood is the most important thing you should control. Using Mr T to brighten up your desk, make you laugh and motivate you is all very well but next you have to go and do the work. Mr T has worked his arse off his whole life. From humble backgrounds he has built up a likable and at times controversial personality that has been a marketers dream.
Use Mr T and his life as a model for your blog. He started off small, went through many changes (body guard, serious actor then cult hero!). He survived a very hard period in his life by keeping positive (he had cancer, obviousy something silly like cancer could never beat Mr T!). Your blog will go through hard times. I have recently lost a couple of top page Google listings and my earnings have suffered…. but I am keeping positive and know I will get new ones or the old ones back.

I don’t think there’s anyone from my generation that doesn’t love Mr T man. It doesn’t matter what he’s doing, it’s still a bit cool somehow. lol
Surrounding yourself with fun stuff is awesome for a work environment. I used to have a collection of 500+ M&Ms in my office, but now that room is my daughter’s playroom. I’m actually on the hunt right now to find stuff for my new office.
You’ll have to upload pics or video of your desk once you the creative motivators!

I am motivated by looking at my bank account. This made me to open a make money online blog.
My blog is relatively new, so I still have some contents in my head to write about.
I love Mr T so much that he should do an A-team movie.
