I was just sent a link to this strange sounding thing through my email and I had to go and see what on earth it was.

Well Kirill is simply put a new online drama produced by Microsoft to promote the XBox 360.

More complicatedly put, it’s a very interesting mini drama series that takes us into a dark world or science, kidnap, conspiracy, mystery and blogging…. Ok Blogging does not sound like it fits in too well but this is the thing that makes Kirill great.

Kirill currently has two 3 minute episodes that surround you in mystery and wish to find out what on earth is going on! To help with this Kirill has an extended world of features and blogs where you can read accounts from the characters and find small clues and info hidden around. This is the first online drama that I have come across that has actually taken the opportunity to use the internet to create an extended and interactive world that is not only a support but essential for the development of the story.

I really have enjoyed the beggining of this drama and will definitely be checking in and checking out a few of the extras to see what is shaping up.

The site looks great and is well worth the visit. This is the start of many more interactive extended online shows to come.
