After all the months of anticipation and the circus surrounding the ever camera friendly Charlie Sheen the show Two and a Half Men finally came back for it’s ninth season without Charlie but with Ashton Kutcher stepping into the shoes as a new character Walden Schmidt.
There has been a lot of speculation on how Aston would do stepping into such well loved shoes but it seems that all things considering it went pretty well.
So how did he make the big entrance?

Charlie has died, the beginning of the episode saw Alan sitting in charlie’s living room trying to decide what to do with Charlie’s ashes. As he stands up a man at the back door scares him into dropping the ashes all over the floor.

Alan tries to calm the man and let him know he has been in a similar situation and in it’s revealed that the man, Walden Schmidt, is worth a billion…..
Pretty fun start, you can see it in the video below if I didn’t illustrate it well enough!
I am not a massive fan of the show but it’s fine in the background and as far as replacements go I think Ashton will be just fine. The show has been going around 8 years now so it’s about time for some injection of new life. We all know Ashton isn’t exactly a top grade actor but he suits this kind of role well and maybe well see some good character development along the way.
So how did you enjoy the episode? Will it take some time to get used to Walden or did he slot right in for you? Will you be tuning out now Charlie has gone or will you even be tuning in for the first time? I look forward to your thoughts. - Ashton Kutcher Debuts on Two and a Half Men
