Can you imagine a space in your home that could even accomodate a 90 inch screen? Well these days getting a Tv in is a lot easier because they are extremely thin so there must be space on a wall somewhere? You better get saving!

The TV is an impressive 90 inch across it’s diagonal and works out at 4ft tall and 6ft8 wide. It’s only 4.5 inches deep and weighs a comparatively measly 150 lbs.

And it’s not just the size. It comes ready for 3D with glasses at 1080p HD and is loaded with Sharp’s SmartCentral service. This means things like Hulu and Netflix are ready to set up, effectively TV’s are like computers these days!

So how much is the Sharp 90 inch TV?

Well you won’t be throwing away small change but I am sure you were fully aware of that! The current price has been set at $10,999.99 however I am sure you’ll be able to pick one up at just below $10k (a bargain, ha ha) when retailers like Amazon get their hands on it!

I honestly don’t know if this monster is worth it’s price tag but you’ll certainly want to stay home and watch movies or play XBox a lot more so maybe you could save a years entertainment budget!

If you are worried about running costs they say it’ll cost just $28 a year to run!

Personally I better wait til the price comes down!

Would you consider buying this beast? Will you wait until the market has a little more competition at this size?

For $11,000 I definitely won’t consider buying this TV. I think I’d have more luck waiting a couple years for competitors to start rolling out their versions, or waiting for this beast to lower it’s price. It does look like an amazing TV though! I would love to test out my free HD channels on it from my Dish package, because I’m sure they would look incredible; especially the PPV movies that come in 1080p quality. Too bad it’s not in my budget, but maybe it is for some of my coworkers at Dish, friends or family members! :)

Hey Em, yeah it could be like the 60s and 70s where all the kids from the neighbourhood would go round one home to watch TV if someone gets one of these! The $11k will be out of most people’s reach so I am sure it’ll come down fairly quickly!
