As I have mentioned in a few recent posts. I have been the proud purchaser of a fantastic piece of software called Micro Niche Finder. Micro Niche Finder allows you to research and get detailed data on niche markets and work out the best keywords and titles for your websites, blogs, posts and can be used in endless ways. Many articles about how it works can be found but I thought I would actually show some proof and show how it is working for me and how you can try the same for your own projects. My main website TheRandomForest.com is mainly where I have been using it and I have two recent examples to show you. In these examples I used Micro Niche Finder to find the best possible post names to attract as much SEO as I could. The numbers are not huge but they have definitely helped me to maximize the exposure for these topics. Post one: Lion hugging woman I had received a video by email about a woman who had cared for an abandoned lion cub. When it got too big, she had handed it to a zoo. When she went back to visit the lion hugged her with what can only be described as love and affection. Amazing!
I used Micro Niche Finder to research as many keywords and combinations as I could to find the highest search verses lowest competition. I managed to find a monthly search of 180 to a competition of 125 other sites with that exact same combination of words.
Now this post is on page number one, fifth entry down in Google for Lion Hugging Woman.
Post Two: Puff pastry filling recipe My partner and I had invented a Mexican influenced vegetarian pie filling . I wanted to share this on my site and started using Micro Niche Finder to research a suitable post title.
I started with searches around the terms “pie filling” and “vegetarian pie” and after lots of digging around I found that Puff pastry filling recipe was yielding the best search to competition results. Now although my recipe was not originally meant for puff pastry, there was no reason why it would not work in this manor. I found a 660 per month search count to a 140 site competition. So I rewrote the post slightly to accommodate. I have since tried it with puff pastry and it was great.
Now my post sits at the end of the first page of Google.
My tips for integrating your Micro Niche Finder findings into your Wordpress posts. I am no expert but I have had success with the following techniques.
- Use the Wordpress All In One SEO plugin, always
- Enter the exact keyword(s) into the All in one SEO settings before publishing your post. The description should be written to entice people in from the search engine and should feature variations on your keywords Use the exact keyword in the keyword field.
- Try to use your keyword a few times in your post, I have read that if you bold it one and italicize it once that that can help
Anyway I hope that helps and if you are interested in taking a further look at Micro Niche Finder and possibly purchasing then take a look here. The creator is extremely helpful if you have any questions. Leave a comment if you liked this post or need any more info. I would be more than happy to help.

I checked it out and it looks like there are a ton of ad stuff associated with this program. Sounds like an awesome program, but I don’t care for all the ads. Just saying. Have a great day.

Hi Sandee, do you mean the ads on my site for it?
I obviously wanted to include my affiliate link but don’t want people to be turned off or feel that I am only writing for that reason, because I am not. I find this SEO stuff interesting and much more in reach then I ever thought.
Would it help to take off all Micro Niche Finder links and clearly state my affiliate at the bottom of the post?

Alright. You got me. I’m stumped.
I couldn’t figure out if this was a blogger or wordpress blog. (I know it says wordpress at the bottom, but I couldn’t figure out why the pictures lead to a blogger address.) Anyways.
Checked out Micro Niche Finder and I see what Comedy means. It’s not your google ads at the top of this post or the fact that you have Micro Niche finder links embedded in the content. It’s the landing page of the Micro Niche product itself. It has that one page, large font sales approach that screams go back. (Mind you, those pages are supposedly very good at converting into sales, but I haven’t experimented with it yet)
You know, I popped back twice to that landing page while writing this comment, and I still couldn’t find it in me to leave my email address and see what else it had to offer. But that’s just me.
How does Micro Niche Finder compare with the SEOBook free tool that shows related search terms and how much activity they’re getting? Looks like the Micro Niche Finder has a thesaurus function built into it? (I like your screenshots of the product in here, by the way – it’s the only thing that has me even thinking about the product)
Thanks for the food for thought. I’ve only considered niche keywords when promoting my minisite on domain names. But you’re right. You could try to get traffic onto your posts by targetting niche keywords. Do you find the time invested in making your individual posts SEO worthy gets returned in adsense clicks? Does your Lion Hugging Woman post get more traffic and more adsense clicks?

Hi WebDiggin,
You have me thinking and I will improve this post and take the links out, just supplying an obvious affiliate link at the bottom.
I wrote it and hosted the images in blogger but this is a Wordpress blog.
As for finding out more, you fill out the form on the page and J.L.Jones sends you a link to 4 videos which show you various ways to use MNF. He has a very salesman attitude so I would normally have been turned off, however I was recommended the product by a great blogger called Garry Conn (www.garryconn.com) who really is trust worthy. Once you purchase and are using the product you get free upgrades for life and J.L. Jones is a real man who answers any questions you need with enthusiasm and care.
I personally think the landing page needs redesigning, I even had to contact Garry Conn to ask how the hell I purchase the damn thing!
As for visits, I am not very good with analyzing my stats (something I need to work out better) but just showing you this screen shot you can see that the the lion post is doing ok.
It’s hard to tell if Adsense is getting better as again, I have not been tracking where clicks come from (mainly because I don’t know how!) . I have had 5 clicks yesterdy and 1 today. Before I started getting my site seen in search engines I was barely getting 1 click per day.
Looking at SEO book the main difference is MNF wll let you know how many monthly searches a term is getting and it will tell you how many sites contain the exact same search words so you can judge your comptetition. It now also estimates ad price and allows you to search according to various countries searches so you can target words more effectively.
Looking at SEO book there are some useful things that it supplies too and I think I will start to use the tools hand in hand.
Thanks for the comment, makes my day to have people interacting like this.

The tools at SEO book are pretty good. We use both the Rank Checker (to figure out what page we’re on) as well as the SEO for firefox (which tells you how good the competition is when you do a google search, but also highlights the nofollow links on a webpage.) We wrote about both plugins, but we only post once per day, so those posts are scheduled to come out in the next few days.
Oh. And we’re having a $5 comment contest on WebDiggin that you might want to get in on if you haven’t already. Your chances of winning are good 1 in 10. I’m not that popular

I purchased MNF from Garry as well and have been very happy with hit. I’m not nearly as active as I would like to be, but the suggestions have been very beneficial. Can you tell me more about the All in one SEO pack? I’ve heard it mentioned before, never checked it out.
