I just saw that Nokia have been holding a great competition where people have made a bunch of movies on their phones and the winners entries are being put together by the great Spike Lee for a final short film 
Spike reckons we will be seeing Hollywood movies made on mobile phones in the not too distant future…. that would be pretty cool.

I worked on the movie and am even in the credits as a special contributor. I have been in LA for the past two days for the premiere of this movie. Check out the recap on my blog. I’ll have my interview with Spike Lee up soon too.

Interesting idea. I could see that maybe making its way to the Indie circuit. I don’t see it hitting Hollywood until mobile phone video doesn’t look like a disrupted sub-space transmission.

Wow Ben, that must have been really cool. I knew you did photography and stuff…. I’m going to run over and check the re-cap.
He MRM, I agree but the technology is being updated and released very very fast…. The main problem I can see is the little fixed lenses not giving much scope for decent cinematography…. so we will end up with very flat boringly filmed films…. The content would have to be outstanding.
