Autumn Braden is the teenage babysitter of the two-year-old placed for sale on eBay. She shocked the world by accepting a man’s bid of $1,000 for the the child. This is utterly outrageous and people can not believe it.

The 19 year old woman claimed she wante to ‘see how eBay worked’ and it ‘wasn’t meant to be taken seriously.’ However, seriously is just how the authorities are taking it seriously as they should.
On the eBay post, Autumn wrote ‘An adorable child for sale can clean and hold a decent conversation very lovable but i just out grew her.’

The teenager had been taking care of the child at the time. It is suspected she was baby sitting, but the little girl is back with the mother now after a the ordeal.
The police were able to locate Braden in Allendale Township. This is about 15 miles west of Grand Rapids, Michigan. They were searching for her as soon as they had discovered the eBay auction.
Ottawa County sheriff’s Lieutenant Mark Bennett said the police received a phone call from a concerned citizen in California, 2,000 miles away, about the listing. This just goes to show it doesn’t matter where you are if you spot something wrong, then make the call to alert the authorities.
Most of the bidders thought the posting was a hoax, but decided to call the police when the bid was accepted. They helped the police locate the woman, according to Lt. Bennet.
The woman has not been officially charged yet, but the case has been forwarded to prosecutors for potential charges.
eBay spokesperson has stated, ‘The sale of humans is illegal and is not permitted on our site.
‘We will continue to cooperate with law enforcement officials on this matter.’
