2009 is the year to try and buck up your ideas and go green wherever you can. You wouldn’t want to see The Random Forest wasting away now would you?
Working online full time is a good step in helping the world be that little bit greener and if you are serious like you should be about saving our beloved planet then I think that you should be looking at aspects of your life and business that can be a little more environmentally friendly.

As for usage. HostGator uses the very useful and easy Cpanel as their admin. Cpanel works like a breeze allowing you access to stats, easy account management, one button installation of many packages and much much more. If you need help you can always ask me any questions you have.
I mostly use my account for wordpress sites and setup is ridiculously simple. I can have a blog up and running in less than 20 minutes as wordpress can be installed at the touch of a button and by filling out a few fields.
Their support is second to none. For anything I have trouble with I jump onto their 24 online live chat or give them a phone call and the issue is normally resolved in minutes!
I can also honestly say that I have never noticed any downtime to any of my sites hosted on my reseller account.

Speaking of green initiatives, I heard on the radio that google is looking at greening up their part of the net. The report I heard figures that each search create 7 grams of CO2. Not surprising really considering that google must have huge servers in huge wharehouses all cooled by A/C and what ever else.
Purchasing credits is a green thing? hmmm I dunno bout that dude. Or do that just get their energy from greener sources?
