Just wishing you Greetings for the New Year for everyone who happens to pass by this post.

I am really looking forward to 2009. TheRandomForest is just near the end of it’s redesign and more importantly it’s reorganization. 2009 will bring much more focus on this site and you will see a lot more tutorials and design related articles. I will also be talking a lot about my Site and Blog flipping adventures and sharing tips and tricks as I go along the way.

I have many goals for the 2009 and from September I will be moving to Cairo, Egypt as my partner is off to study at the American University of Cairo.

Here are some of my goals:

  • Get 1000 page views per day for TheRandomForest.com.
  • Make $15 per day in Adsense
  • Make $3k per month from my Online Business
  • Make FrugalZeitgeist.com profitable earning over $100 per month

I have many more personal goals including health related goals and paying off some personal debt but these are just some business focuses.

What Goals do you have for 2009?

I am also starting the year with a brand new Xbox360 and a FlipMino camera so I am hoping to merge these into my blogging life.

Are you looking forward to seeing what Barack Obama has to do in the New Year…….. I know I am.

Quotes for the New Year

Here are a few cool quotes to get you in a good mood for the New Year.

Consistency is the last refuge of the unimaginative.
Oscar Wilde

Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.
Barack Obama

Song for the New Year

Enjoy this song from one of my favorite bands. Evening of the Day by Supergrass.

HAPPY NEW YEAR…..

    Happy New Year Forest!!

I hope you achieve all your goals that you’ve set out to do – I think I need to set myself some goals as without them it’s quite possible to stagnate at your current level.

  3. WOW, what a makeover! Nice touch and leave a pretty good impression if you ask me. I’ll be contacting soon to get a banner done as I’m impressed with you’ve done for others. Let me sort out a few things first.

Hey Bud, Happy new years to you and your G/f. Went to a new years bash at a friends place, drank way too much of everything, ate way too much of everything,Got a call the next morning that I had flodded out my friends basement. LOL bad I know. So I had to go do some plumbing repairs. Wasnt actually flooded it turns out, thank god. Just ripped out the laundry tub faucet and pulled down a pipe which well sorta leaked.

Happy New Year Forest! The updated site design looks great! I hope you’re able to reach the goals you’ve set for yourself.

I’d have to say my main goal for 2009 is doing a redesign of my site and building up traffic as well.

  8. Hi Forest

Happy New Year to you! Hope you attain your goals….at least enjoy the the trip :)

I ran across your blog when looking for some info on the Church Revolution theme. You did an outstanding job providing the details I needed to get my blog up and running. If interested you can check it out at Xsitepro Tutorials and Templates

Besides saying thanks for the tutorials and happy new year, my reason for posting is to see if you would consider doing a tutorial on how you placed your sign up form in the header….I assume you used css somehow, but I’m a little rusty and would like to learn how you did it!

    Thanks again,

Hmmm seem like my threaded replies have gone!!! I Must sort that!!

@Yan, Thanks very much. I look forward to working with you :)

@Shane, ha ha, you always have the most crazy stories!! Thanks for stopping by.

@Samir, thanks very much and great to see you around again.

@Bryan, I am actually not finished but felt I needed to roll it out live and live with it for a while before I make final decisions… I have cut off info about my design services until I am happy with this design!! Strange I know!

@Scott, thanks so much for commenting. That is a great idea and I will definitely try and get that done in a week or so. Tutorials are time consuming but traffic flows in afterwards to well worthwhile.
