Part of the reason I have been so slack, here is because I have been working on my Frugal site, Frugal Zeitgeist for the last month or so.
As you may or may not know it was originally created as an entry into a competition over at the site Site Flipping University.
The competition was running for 30 days and the aim was to create a successful blog and sell it on site point.
I decided to keep my blog as it was doing pretty well.
However the rules never stated that the blog actually had to be sold and many points were issued for other things like subscribers and traffic, so………
Frugal Zeitgeist won the 30 days of Blog Flipping Contest!!
Crazy hey? I won a whole bunch of prizes including some free advertising and $300 of software to help me out.
Then last Thursday as I was rushing out of the door I received an email from a Producer at CBC Radio One in Montreal.
They asked me to talk on the Noon show the next day about “free and cheap things to do in Quebec.
So on Friday Afternoon I had a chance to talk in the name of Frugal Zeitgeist on one of Quebec’s biggest broadcast outputs.

Now the excitement is over I have to get back on track and try to make the site one of th best frugal sites on the net.
