Whilst researching DVD rental in the USA I came across a great looking online DVD rental company called Netflix. I must say that they are amazing and have almost every movie you can imagine! I would strongly recommend them!
It also dawned on me that many people used to the old way of renting DVDs may not understand this whole online rental thing, so here is my simple guide.
It works something like this.
- You choose a plan which entitles you to either 1, 2 or 3 DVDs at a time (for a very good price)
- You make a list of DVDs that you want to see
- You get sent either 1,2 or 3 DVDs from your list depending on your plan
- When you finish watching one, you pop it back in the free post envelope and send it back
- When they receive it back, they send you another DVD from your list
And so on…
It really is simple and totally brilliant.
If anyone has any experience with online DVD rental in Canada, particularly Quebec then I would love to find out who is good and who is bad.

Can you get Netflix in Canada? Even if they don’t ship the DVDs, you might be able to watch the movies online.

I think that might be possible but I want the one where they send you the DVDs. I am having trouble finding areputable one in Canada!
