Charlie Sheen and web intern - Charlie Sheen who was recently sacked from Two and a Half Men for his recent behavior is looking to hire a web intern after he reached a million followers on Twitter in record time.

There is no end of sheen news recently and we have written a fair amount about him (Charlie Sheen on The Random Forest) so I am sure all this news attention is actually oddly helping his career which is going down hill in some respects (getting sacked) and up in others as he becomes everyone’s favorite mental celebrity.
Last week when he joined Twitter he reached a million followers in 25 hours and 17 minutes setting a Guinness World Record for the fastest to a million. Due to the success he is hiring a web intern through Internships.com, the first round ended on 11th March. He tweeted:

As you can see he is playing off his new catchphrase and mentioned that he is looking for a #winning intern. The intern will be working throughout the summer for 8 weeks on the Team Sheen campaign.
My thoughts….
Ok, so I am joining the Sheen band wagon by writing about his crazy antics again but the fact that he is hiring means he has part of his head screwed on and knows he can benefit from all this attention. He is acting a little out of the ball park right now and it is interesting to think how much is him acting up and how much is him believing he is the man!
Maybe we shouldn’t be laughing at him and maybe he just needs help bringing him back down to the real world and we shouldn’t be celebrating such loony behavior as it should never be encouraged in anyone.
The next few months and the campaign for Team Sheen will be interesting indeed. If things continue this way I have no idea how much longer he will be winning for!
