It’s just starting to get chilly here in Montreal.
I woke up yesterday morning and it felt a little chilly. I ran to the shower half dazed and threw myself under the hot shower.
That was not so bad….
When I jumped out of the shower however I had a shock. Freezing cold and late for work I dressed and rushed, shivering all the way on my 25min walk.
This is a very gentle introduction for me to the cold weather of the Canadian winter. I have heard many stories or morning hell and if I drove to work then a garage heater would definitely be something I would look at getting.
Just imagine being able to warmly get into your car and then once the heat in your car is up to par you could leisurely drive to work pretending that the cold never existed!
Sadly I don’t drive or have a garage so will just have to dream of this while I trudge the cold streets.
Welcome to Canada… you are in for a frosty treat! May I suggest some thermal underwear for those walks? This is just the beginning…..LOL
