After reading through the list presented above, I have to admit I was a bit surprised at some of the selections. First of all, I expected many more cities to be from the sunshine States in the U.S. Surely, you thought the same. Something else that caught me off guard was there are no cities in Texas on the list. I was surprised there were a few on the list from the Midwest. Finally, the thing that stood out to me was the number of east coast cities and Pittsburgh made the list. Nothing against Pittsburgh, but when you think of the best places to retire I highly doubt this city comes to mind.
