Another Break In Boston

Random & Personal, Travel

This Spring break I was away from Montreal and spent some time down in Vermont, but also had the greatest time in Boston.

I love Boston. This is my second trip there and it was enough to let me know that I need to go back sometime soon. There are so many things to do in Boston and that’s even before you start going into the museums and taking the sightseeing tours.

Things to do in Boston that I enjoyed include visiting the famous Harvard University, pretending to be clever; sitting by the ocean eating great food, and walking down the Sesame Street-style back streets. The restaurants in Boston are great. Ethnic links from all over the world bring the best of everything, including some of the best bagels and pizza and Middle Eastern cuisine.

We spent some time munching away on a lot of this food and I must say that I have had some of the best Indian style food in Boston, this side of the Atlantic.

We walked around the Old Town and enjoyed the sights. It was pretty chilly but Spring was fighting through, as it should on Spring Break! Boston, for an American town, is shrouded in History. From witch hunts to civil rights to natural history. It’s all here.

Oh and did I mention the bars are great too! If you like that sort of thing, which I do for the evening I am partaking it. Just the next day is not so great…
