The Rolfaroo, Once though to be mythical

Scientists recently discovered a new species of animal much to their own disbelief. They say, not much is known about this creature, but Rolfaroo is believed to be a mixture of the standard Grey kangaroo and the much loved personality Rolf Harris. Unsure as to how such a thing could have happened scientists are currently gathering funding to research the animal further.

Rolf Harris had been drawing these creatures since the 1960’s but it was widely believed that he had created the animal to use as his cartoon mascot thus giving it it’s mythical status.

Dr. Parks said that the team had originally taken the trip, into the outback, to study the life cycle of the common bush grass and had not anticipated such a discovery.

“This is more important than discovering the Loch Ness monster swimming in your back yard pool, stranger than finding a dragon in your garage or a unicorn working at your local supermarket.”
Unnamed top authority on discoveries.

This has totally amazed me. I have been a huge fan of Rolf Harris since I was a child. I used to regularly watch Rolf’s Cartoon Club and it never occurred to me that his little doodle was that of a living creature.

Rolf has recently had critical acclaim as presenter of Animal Hospital and an artist who was officially invited to paint a portrait of the queen. Although he has been unavailable for comment, I am sure Mr Harris will be honoured that scientists have decided to keep the scientific name of this animal as Rolfaroo.

I have not verified it’s authenticity as yet but I did find out from a reliable source. People did not think the duck billed platypus was real at first!
