A Taste Of Christmas

a taste of christmas

Christmas is pretty much just round the corner now and for many bloggers this is the season to be making a little bit of cash.

Many people start writing about gadgets and other gift related ideas. Much money can be made from adsense clicks and affiliate earnings through Amazon, Ebay and many other places.

As I am not really blogging too much these days me and a blogging buddy, Neal from Nota Bene Consulting, decided to try and take advantage of the time and create a Christmas themed blog to sell in the coming week.

I have been building and selling websites for just over a month now and doing reasonable at it considering that I am a beginner, however this is the first flip I have attempted that is themes around a certain time sensitive event.

I have no idea how well it will d or even if it is too late, but I like to document success and failure and thought I would show everyone what I am up to.

Neal found the great domain and did most of the setup, I did the design and we have both written the unique content (more still to post).

The website aims to give great tips, history, facts and ideas all revolving around the upcoming holiday

So please do go and check out A Taste of Christmas, leave a comment, let me know what you think and maybe even give some diggs and stumbles if you like what you read.

I’ll write a follow up post once this is on sale and another once it is sold….

Have you ever flipped a site, is it something that interests you?

About the author

My name is Forest, I have been blogging and reading blogs for around 3 years now. The Random Forest was originally my daily diary but it evolved into much more than that and is now a daily multiple author blog of interesting and random news posts. You can also find me blogging about frugality and sustainable living over at my blog Frugal Zeitgeist.

Wow, Forest… very interesting site… thanks! Is that a flash site? Sure looks like one.
I like the concept alot and would like to learn more about it.

I hope you have a GREAT Turkey Day, even though they don’t celebrate it where you’re hanging out at. :)
