Ed Sheeran posts cryptic message on Twitter, sending fans into overdriveā€

In the teaser video, where he's sitting on a couch in his home's library area wearing prescription glasses, Ed is seeing holding a sheet of paper with the message "NEW MUSIC COMING FRIDAY!" written on it. He announced in an Instagram post: "I'm taking a break from my phone, emails and all social media for a while".

Ed Sheeran first rose to fame with "The A Team" in 2011.

Well, it is January 2017 and it looks like we're finally going to get some new Ed tunes!

Sheeran, 25, didn't specify whether the January 6 release would consist of just one new song, multiple tracks or an entire album, but it's good news regardless for the singer's followers given his blatant disappearance from the public eye past year.

Ed Sheeran also declared that he will be out for all social media for a while and begin to discover the world.

Greek ambassador to Brazil murdered by wife's cop lover
The ambassador's wife, Francoise Amiridis, has now arrived at a police station in the Rio area for questioning. The incident is another blow to Rio's image, just four months after it hosted the Summer Olympics.

He has been a consistent chart-topper.

We've been waiting a long time for this (a year and a bit to be precise) but Ed Sheeran's return to music is almost here! It is manifested in the talk show host's tweet saying, "Well, @edsheeran has already made 2017 epic as far as I'm concerned #friday".

Despite knowing just how many days to count down until the album drops, there still isn't a lot that's confirmed about Sheeran's newest musical offering. Better be updated about this especially that it's coming this week!

Ed Sheeran has shared another teaser of his upcoming album, and people think it's about the title. That was his only update on those platforms until Sunday morning's news.
